looks like an original Orts Level NSDAP Political Leader visor ... badly moth damaged with wear and tear and a great RZM control tag. On the front of the cap, one can see the outline of the PL cockade on the brown velvet band (and hoheitsalder on the cloth) ... a relic to be sure, but it is pre-1945! Thanks for posting.

Definitely worth restoring IMO!
Mothing and wear doesnt bother me.......
