Need help with symbol on a Winterhilfe can.....

This forum seemed the most appropriate place to post this question.....

I'm trying to find out what this symbol means, or what organization it is for. It is on top of a Winterhilfe type donation can, but there is no sticker affixed to the can.

Any ideas?
