Can anyone identify this bronze NSKK plaque and what it would have been used for?

It says:

„2nd Luisenburg Hill Race“

It seems to be a participation badge for this hill race.

ivbaust, thanks for the info. that is certainly interesting. By the small holes on each side of the plague it looks like it would have been attached to something. I wonder if it came off a trophy of some sort?

Possible that it was nailed or screwed onto something.
