I can't agree EC,
Wittmans is an original HB - BUT-it's been cleaned down to the bare zinc and then lacquered or coated with something to prevent further zinc pest or in an attempt to make it look better, that's why the color is bad, it has almost a sand blasted zinc look, most of the feathers have all been broken on one side and just rounded off so it looks awful, It is authentic but a completely rubbish example, maybe should sell for 100-200- NOT 1200. Looking bad does does not make it fake- just a crap example! Check out Mils from the WAF- same finish but definitely an original bird!

Not sure if it has been cleaned down, but I don't like it. Seems to be a cast with some suspect areas when I looked at the enlarged photos on the main website.
