    Desk Eagles

Posting some of my desk eagles, other variant as opposed to the Nurnberg style.
These have very fragile wingtips and are more solidly cast as opposed to the Nurnberg type. Anyone else has these?

Thanks for sharing these, Mil...but for my taste, the heads of both of these birds appear to be too chicken-like! Do we have any idea who created this design?

          Happy New Year, my friend,

            Hello Br. James,

Not sure who was the sculptor, but some of these were marked M3/100 for the firm, Emmrich & Schoenig, Berlin.
A similar piece was posted by Mike on http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru....php?p=6959706 - see #17

              Hi Mil,

Thanks for your quick response, and for the link to Michael's note of mid-2015. I didn't notice any RZM license number on the examples you posted, though they might be quite small. I guess the origin of this design, as well as the sculptor(s), may be lost to history by now, sad to say.

Thanks very much, my friend, and warmest best wishes to you for the New Year!

              Cheers,

              Br. James
