    Early NSKK Cap Eagle

    Hi Guys,

I never had the chance to offer this NSKK Cap Eagle for discussion. Does anyone know more about this variant, other than it was used by the NSKK Motor Korps? I believe that it was used for only a very short period of time by the School? This was a ground dug piece that came from John T.

Does anyone have examples of this in a better condition or better still period photos of it in use?

This eagle is supposed to be for the NSKK Schools special Schirmmütze , worn in the center of the cap .
      Not easy to get ...

        Thanks, Nick.

Do you have a photo of the cap insignia in wear? I can't find it...

First: it is not an early eagle. It was introduced in August 1939.
Further one can find some photos of it in wear in "Headgear of Hitler's Germany", volume 4, pages 446 through 449.
