Plaque appears added, what is the cap insignia?. Think i saw this on some site and its not military or political.

IMO this is a post-war assembled piece. It's possible that the figure was from a period ski trophy but likely not SA, and the same style skiing figures were, I believe, made into the 1960s (based on the ski outfits of the period). I have several SA statues and all have a sculpted armband representation, as well as an eagle form on the cap. This figure, while it's not super detailed, appears to be wearing normal civilian ski clothing. The plaque is IMO suspect for at least 2 reasons: first, it's done in all capital letters, which is unusual for a III Reich period piece. It's been my finding that most period plaques are done in capital and lower case lettering. Second, there is no place name. Most, if not all, day badges, awards, and plaques will have the date and the place listed.
