Hello Mike,
I guess You already know that it is a high leader SA buckle for the seldom seen generals brocade. A bunch of those buckles was found years ago in Austria at the spot of a former RZM dependance. All came out of the ground in this or worse condition and from time to time one of them shows up on the market. To Your question: yes I think it is one of the originals of this hoard find. But the gilding is completely gone and the condition way too bad to justify such a price. So I would advice You to wait for a better one. Every couple years one shows up on the market and will bring You much more joy.
