    NSDAP Tuni (Hauptstellenleiter)

    Hey guys,

I bought this tunic a few years ago at Hermann Historica.
I kinda doubt that it s an authenthic tunic but I still would like to hear your opinions about it.

Regarding that I paid 800 Euros (stupid idea of mine) for it, I really consider it not to be an original one.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards

        Hi
In my opinion the tabs are fine. It seems like a tailor made tunic.you never know if the armband etc was added. It is missing the collar cord.
        Regards Dirk

I agree, so far it looks like original period private purchase tunic, interesting collar flaps construction, would like to see back, a specially waist area.

                Tunic itself is fine.

Agree--the tunic appears to be original and the insignia appear to be added. The armband is original and the tabs appear to be, but the armband is incorrect for the tunic (it should be wool rather than cotton per regulations) and the collar should be piped to match the tabs. That said, I've seen wool tunics with cotton armbands before as well as brownshirts with wool bands, and the occasional period photo with an apparently unpiped collar.
The other oddity is the dagger/sword slit. Since the PL didn't wear a dagger or sword, it's a curious addition.

I posted a nice example in the political uniform thread.
