Yes, it was actually introduced. In 1936 (in fall) and was meant for Wach- und Ehrenposten. See my book where this type of gorget is being worn (page 259 and 260).
The shown gorget has the wrong type of eagle and also other facts indicate it as highly questionable.
Normally I do not advertise for my books anymore, but you would have had all your answers since 2012 when you had bought "Ringkragen und Brustschilder im Dritten Reich",
written by me and assisted by Andrew Mollo, Philippe Gillain and others.
