A German friend of mine brought these two porcelain items back for me ,from a recent visit to her family in Bavaria.

One is a large serving dish ? the other is a soup bowl ?

Any ideas and comments are always appreciated.

The round one is NSDAP (National Socialist Party) bowl, and the square one is Wehrmacht/Army. They are pretty standard, commonplace pieces, but make a nice edition to serving bowls at Christmas.

I agree with "TWALT" soup bowl its a DAF item - German Labour Front (German: Deutsche Arbeitsfront, DAF).
