this cap was recently found at a house clearance in Germany, I think it is an early nsdap from the weimar period, given the eagle someone who can tell me more about this piece?

Hi Niels W,

I agree that the two badges on this cap appear to be original to the TR era, though we'll need to see the reverses of both pieces to be more conclusive, but I think the cap itself is modern and probably reflects post-war neo-Nazi affections.

Good to have you here, but sorry to say, the eagle insignia looks suspect, especially the wreath details. Just being frank. Perhaps others will advice as well.

I think the hat is from the 60s or 70s and I wouldn't buy the badges
