Help - for enamel plate - help

    Hello WAF community.
I would like to have your notices / opinion on this enamel plate.
    -
    - On other Forums, It was been right one, many people say it's a good one.
    - On KataWiki (e-bay for switzerland and Germany) she is sold for a real one.
And I have saw it, on big dealers website.
    -
It seems whether it is a commemorative plate, for outside of VW car. Or a plate of dealer or vW garage.
Thank you in advance for your notices / opinion.

There is so much wrong with this sign I don't know where to start. IMO it's a fantasy piece artificially aged.

            I agree here totally.
Have you asked yourself why is there an RZM sign upon the front, but it does not have the regular indication at the reverse with the Erlaubnis and RZM-number for Heene?
But most of all the name is not right. It should be anyway having a capital "H". The signs from this concern, that I have seen, had the indication Ernst Heene.

Also a spelling mistake is Werk written with a small w. Werk is a noun and usually its written without a hypon in one word Emaillierwerk at least today..

The Volkswagen Beatle graphic on the sign doesn't quite match period photos. The bumper over-riders are missing and there are no quarter windows on the original photos. Headlamp shape is wrong too. In addition I feel it is unlikely that a period composition would have the Volkswagen car graphic half covering the KDF logo as it does on this sign. Also the body shape looks a little off or is it just me?

                  Many thanks for your opinion.
A great help, and very clear.
                  And with good one explanations.
                  Thank you again.

Thank you for his enthusiast explanations from collector.
                    Probably you have right.
It's also necessary to know that many medals were made on drawing basis (plan) of the ladybird and not on the final car design.
Do you know this book, I am at the beginning, i think it's a very good book, for a collector.

Not only today Dirkio, but also in the 1930's and so. I checked the many manufacturers I know and the word used was often "Emaillierwerk"
and suchlike. Typical mistakes, made by foreigners.

although your sign is not among these ... if you follow the link they sell many different signs that are being sold at auctions as original.
