      hello
      i am not fan on this dagger , hk on the guard! screw s etc... leather hanger no good! for me a fake or parts dagger!

          The dagger is a later aluminum example with a painted (crackle finish) grip. It does not belong in the scabbard shown. The scabbard is early to mid period, either plated Steele or nickel silver fittings. It has what appears to be original leather. The correct scabbard for the dagger you show, should be an aluminum example with the painted (crackle finish) that exactly matches the grip of the dagger. Far better examples are readily available. That one is no good .. In my opinion.

            Blade should be marked F&A Helbig as they were the only producers of the crackle finish types.

              Early scabbard and late dagger. Non matching parts dagger. You can do better
