    NSFK patch good or bad?

    Hello all,
    I was wondering whether this patch is original or not. Thanks for any help or info

    Hello,
    Just bringing this up to top. I have a NSFK patch that to me, looks just like this one but mine is considered to be a repro. Just wondering if this is real or not. Thanks for any help or info

      You see these NSFK all the time and believe me they are 100% fake. I had a dealer even tell me which dealer had them made in Asia.
      You will hear some say that there is no real yellow on Gray, I previously being one of them but I have been corrected.
      Truth is there are real ones and I only know of a hand full. They were put on yellow shirts and there are about 5 different visual design flaws that you can use to see an original, they are subtle but it is in all the fakes, the main one being the nipples, then the hands, feet and belly.

      The first is fake the 2nd is considered "real"

        Hello,
        John, thank you very much for your reply. I asked about this item because it looks just like the one I have which is considered a repro but is being sold by a reputable dealer, but to me it looked just like the one I have. I thought maybe there was something I was not seeing with this item which made it an original as compared to the one I have. Again, thank you much for your help and reply. I had read a thread on another forum which was very informative, sounds like perhaps you may have written it. Even if you didn't I appreciate your help.

            thanks for your reply. Boy, am I glad I don't collect cloth. It seems as if at least on this patch that I queried I was correct because it looked just like mine but I'd hate to trust my eyes regarding other cloth items. Again thanks for your help and info.

              how about RED?????

              A customer of mine just turned this up! looks ok from the front then the back you can see it was sewn to a flag or pennant. I saw an old thread somewhere with a red nsfk winged man on an early chain stitch unit flag...but it was very different then this more "standard" looking version. Thoughts?

                In the official uniform-regulations from the NSFK nothing is said about a red backing. But it is plausible this "flying man" comes from a flag-patch (Sturm-Spiegel).
                I do not have the sizes for such patch and cannot give a 100%! I wonder what the sizes are from this patch. It could be especially made for use upon such patch.
