Can we see shots up close of the catch and pin .

But so far I like it .
It reminds me of my wife.It would scrub up nice but I prefer to keep it nice and dirty .....ha more pics of the catch ta.Regards Pete

Well I would say that in my view its a good early one.
If you look closer to the eagles you will see tool marks (file) marks to them. This can be seen on at least 2 of the eagles and wreaths a very good sign.
Also the catch ,pin and hinge are typical of Godert and imo the birds are correct.
A well worn item and the age just leaps out at you.
