I love the picture on the ceramic badges. Am I correct in thinking these are HJ badges repurposed? There looks like a HJ diamond under the left one...

          Ludwig,

          You are indeed correct!

When examined closely the HJ insignia is underneath.

Always nice to see attractive designs, especially when used to promote such a noble cause.

              Hi gents,

cannot believe these are HJ membership pins reworked in some way, this badge is for a sport competition!
A lovely badge, but not for HJ membership in any way!

              Best wishes,

              john.

                john,

With all due respect, the HY diamond is quite evident in hand under the NSV figure, so they were in fact reworked......

                    john,

I believe the original badges were for a sports competition, but reworked as a donation token for the NSV.

                    Best regards,
                    RonR

                      Hi Ron,

On close inspection of your photos, I believe you are absolutely correct in saying these badges have been reworked.
Now, if the NSV stickers could some how be peeled off; the badges would have a higher value here in Europe!

                      Best wishes,

                      John.
