Hello collectors

I would listen for your precious opinions about this party Desk Eagle. It is magnetic all around but there's something I don't like (it looks like painted).

What you think?

I lean toward repro ... it shouldn't be magnetic; it appears to be a recast HB with the added round base.

thanks in advance for quick reply. Yes it is all magnetic and there is a marking down the base "HARLD - 1942 - Nurnberg".

Something original late war maybe bad painted?

Wait for Mil or one of the other desk eagle specialist guys. I have not seen one of these made from iron. IMHO it is a copy of the HB eagle. It also has many casting flaws. I may be totally wrong.

that is one of the worst reproduction casts i have ever seen ....many flaws ,not much detale.... EC

Agree--the unfinished heavy seams, casting flaws, finish, and lack of detailing are IMO indicators of a very poor quality fake.

Sorry but it is a poor fake, likely done through rubber / silicon mould casting.
