    Cigarrette case

Hello, not sure if is wrong section. What do you think about this cigarrette case? It's dated on 1921. Is posible identify the owner(known) ?

    Thanks in advanced

It looks like an original 1920s case, but not necessarily related to any of the numerous Völkisch groups or organizations of the period. The sun wheel on the sail would be a typical decoration for a pseudo-Viking ship deco piece. Since it's a gift to someone with the first name of 'Werner' from 'Ly', I don't think you'd ever be able to find any more information on the recipient. Still a nice period case.

not my area,, but the cover engraving looks like one of the Freikorp emblems..

and the inner engraving [if grammatically correct] also looks good.. But the outside design is not 1920s style/design in my opinion...

Search for other cigg cases, match safes, cigar boxes etc. for any similar design pattern..
