Soft details seems a re-cast. It could be a well worn or ground dug piece, but I would prefer a nice text book one with a proper "tuning fork" stand.

I echo Mil's opinion here. The reverse of this piece is particularly concerning -- whether this design of the early NSDAP Eagle was intended for desktop or wall use, the reverse had certain features that originally enabled the eagle to stand upright. For wall use, the collapsible arm was removed but the support features remained. This piece does not appear to have even the remnants of that collapsible arm, and that is a major concern when determining originality.

Agree that this is not pre-1945. It looks like whoever did the casting made a lug as found on railway eagles and then drilled into it. The lack of detail and incorrect reverse are screaming 'reproduction!' to me.
