That looks like a fairly recent version. They do sell as repros but the earlier ones are much more convincing. I first saw one in about 1968 when I guess they first began to appear here in the UK. I don't know who was making them back then, but they fooled a lot of collectors and dealers at the time. Of course there were almost no reference works back then, and it was much more difficult to research TR items.

Yes, I purchased one as a boy in around 1969-1970. Sadly I no longer have it.

Just an explanation about the deleted video I found on Youtube. This guy in the UK was showing an AH 1933 badge like the one I had which he claimed to be totally original. He used to do odd jobs such as cutting grass ect and got talking to an elderly guy about collecting TR awards. The guy produced a box full of badges and medals which he claimed to have picked up at the end of the war in Germany and told him to take any one as payment for cutting his lawn. Therefore the badge has to be original?
