        Agree. ....Other than the button, I don't think any of the components are authentic. The button is likely a shirt button, instead of a kepi "spreader" button, like it should have.....although shirt buttons WERE sometimes used, of course.

            Also, the chinstrap looks new, and the first style eagle shouldn't be on a 1937 pattern kepi.
