This would probably fair better in the flag section. With that being said, it definitely looks like a period piece. Very cool find.

Certainly an unusual piece. I agree with Sydney -- if this thread was moved to the "Flag, Pennant and Standarte Forum" here on WAF, it would probably receive wider viewing and comments.
