    Interesting BDM album w/Award Document

    Hi all,

    Picked this up today. BDM is not my forte, but I found it interesting especially with the sports award doc and badges. Could anybody tell me what the sports award is and are they particularly rare? The laurel leaf is metal, I'm presuming a bronze award?

            Interesting also the late date of this award. Is it February or is it July? This always confuses me whether the day comes first or the month. At any rate very late in the war, and if it is July then just a few days short of the Bomb Plot.

                2. July 1944. and the award was for 5th rank in the BdM High Jump.
