Reverse of gold party badge

Comments please on the reverse of this Gold Party Badge. The pin base has the wording "Deschler & Sohn Munchen 9" in raised letters-not stamped in like most I've seen. Anybody else seen a GPB like this?

I've never seen this, but if some guy accidentally inserted the piece that holds the pin in to the machine that bends it upside down, that's that you would end up with. I can imagine it happening.

Yes, the lettering would be in reverse. This was made this way on purpose! The type of the numbers seems very odd.

100% a ok

Early low numbered pieces had numerals as per badge in question. As to the lettering I would not worry about it, the numerals tell me this is a genuine piece

The matter of the underlining of GPB numbers seems to be unsettled or uneven; if one visits our colleague Stephen's fundamental website on the GPB -- http://pages.interlog.com/~sjl/GPB/index.html -- one finds an example of a large Deschler badge bearing the number 85389 with an underlining.

Can someone post a picture of the reverse of another early badge, with the same anomalies? I think that would be helpful.

Not known if this was an early badge - higher number - but could have been issued with the original first "batch" or awards in 1933-34. It has the underlined number but also has the "bulge" in the bottom edge of the pinplate and the faint semi-circle ridge at 1 to 3 o'clock. The impressed number font is different that the one above and is the one most commonly found.

This badge is fine and don't show the anomalies of the badge, that started the threat. The lettering on the pinplate looks modern for me and the membership number has the wrong style.
