Thanks Dancz, you caught me while posting the pictures. I was having to resize them to fit the site format. Appreciate the quick response and look forward to hearing your assessment.

Hello all, no one has any opinions on these badges? I am a little worried about the Austrian one just because they are so rare but I have read on the forums here that the plain reverse ones have a better shot of being real than the circle B variants. The Hungarian ones I know nothing about at all and can't find a whole lot about them so far. Hoping that some of the experts here might chime in with some bits of wisdom. Thanks all.

Nun Erst Recht is a beautiful original. Hitlerbewegung: I don't know, it's like finding the holy grail so rare are they. I know of only a handful in a few advanced collections. The Hungarian badges are fake. Originals are very very rare and look different.

My advice is to try Jo Rivett's website if you wanna learn more about these ultra rare buggers: www.parteiabzeichen.ch

                Regards, Wim

Thanks Wim, I just ordered Jo's book today. I am somewhat new to party badges. Only have 31 right now but most are just the common varieties. Have a few maker marked early variants but bought all of them here on estand from respected sellers. These badges I picked up at a show last weekend and didn't have the luxury of the site and all of the wisdom available here. Had to take a chance. For what I paid, hopefully the one authentic one will pay for the rest. I will contact the seller about the fakes and see if I can get refunded. Thank you for your time and info Wim, much appreciated.

                    Hi!
Is there something written on the back of the "Hitllerbewegung'-badge? I can't make it out here on my phone.

                    Best Peter

No nothing on the back. Completely blank. I have read old posts here on WAF that said the un marked ones were more often correct than the marked ones with ges gesch and the b inside circle. I can't speak to it personally but that was mentioned in older threads regarding these badges. I look forward to getting the Jo Rivett book and doing more research of my own. Thanks for your response.

Most "Hitlerbewegung"-badges are made by "R. Schanes" of Vienna and also maked with that firm.
I'm in a hurry but if You do a search You will find these badges here on WAF. I posted mine too.

                        Kind regards, Peter

Hey peterm, thank you very much for the link. I have tried the search feature here for threads regarding these and it always times out with no hits. Maybe I need to learn to use it better. Those are beautiful badges. Is it your assertion that all of the originals were made by this firm? Or most of them? I have read posts that said there are originals with plain reverses and with the ges gesch and circled B. Most of the fakes I've found are the circled B variants but I'm sure there are lots of others as the fakers are very prolific and working hard everyday to screw us out of our hard earned money. Thanks again for your responses and the link. You are a very lucky man to own those badges.

                              Hi Eric!
                              Thanks for Your kind words.
All I can say for sure is, that I personally know 5 of these "Hitlerbewegung"-badges (2 small + 3 large ones) and these are all made by "Schanes". I also recommend www.parteiabzeichen.ch, there is no better site to look for this kind of badges.

                              Good luck for Your collection,

                              Best, Peter
