SA Untergruppe Tab

Would like to show off the newest piece in my collection, a wonderful Pre July '33 tab for the Untergruppe of Westfalen. I am very happy to have acquired this piece and is now one the the earliest pieces in my collection. I first saw this tab when doing a search on another forum a few years ago. It then disappeared and resurfaced in a younger kids collection until now.

Its worth noting that the lack of backing is seldom seen. I have only ever seen it on one other tab and it predates this one. Also the strange style font.

Hello Sydney,
this tab is from around 1932.
It could be from Gruppe Ostmark, Lausitz or Selbst.Standarte 8 or
from Gruppe Berlin Brandenburg , Brandenburg Ost or Brandenburg West

Thank you for the reply. Yes, the Gruppes you mentioned did indeed use this color combination. I can assure you this is definitely from Gruppe Westfalen. Standarte 174 was located in Bielefeld. The only other Standarte 174 I know of would be in Neunkirchen, Gruppe Kurpfalz, which did not use this color combo.

Nice..I almost bought a pre 32 Brownstein without shoulder strap from Bob Coleman.He had promised it to me..but I got away from collecting.
