I didn't buy it, but someone else from a German dealer. The buyer posted above photos in a German forum and there's now a controversial discussion. Some give it a , some don't like especially the interior. I must admit I'm sceptical particularly about the RZM tag.

Not a kepi I like. Looks like the cap is build with original items like the chin strap and eagle, but I don't like the interior at all.

The RZM tag is also fake in my opinion. I understand about the duscussion as it looks ok but I say No!

Kepi

I have a very early kepi that had the colored band added later, since the first kepis didn't HAVE a colored band originally.
My kepi has a similar top...minus the strange oilcloth diamond....it's almost a crude type oilcloth. I wouldn't be as bothered by the oddball interior as much if it didn't have the RZM tag. With that tag, I'd expect a little more conformity.
I do NOT get a warm, fuzzy feeling with this cap. Also the chinstrap looks fake to me, and the RZM tag even looks odd.
It's VERY hard to fake "old".........and I'm not convinced.
Not a kepi I would ever buy.

It is a well made fake. The RZM tag is the later model and not the white based tag found on earlier pieces. The interior, s others have said, is also incorrect. An RZM production kepi never had a sweat shield in the top.
