    I have never seen one with a pin like shown.

      Agree--the pin is the wrong type. In addition, I don't remember ever seeing an SA Wehr-Sport with no maker or RZM code. The catch looks odd as well.

          I agree: an odd rendering of an SA Military Defense Badge, Bronze Grade. I too have never seen one of these badges without either a maker's name or an RZM code, though I do have one in my collection with a similar pin assembly, and I have always thought that that pin had been placed there after the original had broken off.
