      Gary,

That certainly is an appealing poster. I have never seen any that size. Congratulations!

An exciting poster, Gary! From the ringing bells, which are celebratory, the factory going full blast, indicating a prosperous economy, and the swastika banner seeming to draw both of those elements together in a Volksgemeinschaft, I would suppose this piece is from the advent of the NSDAP Government in Germany: 1933. That is just a guess on my part, as I have not seen this design before, but the motif is certainly indicative of the spirit throughout Germany -- at least among the victorious party -- at that time!

Hello Gary - Was this from a local show in the UK?

The Sturmlied lyrics (by Dietrich Eckhardt) do contain the reference to the bells already.

A great reference, Andreas! Certainly relevant to this poster motif -- Eckart was indeed focused on church bells ringing out the triumph of National Socialism when he conceived his poem "Sturmlied," which was also the origin of the slogan: "Deutschland Erwache"...even though Eckart died more than nine years prior to Hitler's appointment as German Chancellor. But Eckart's vision would be fulfilled by Hitler and the church bells would ring out in celebration of his triumph.
