Gorget NSKK- The question of originality and price.

Hello, please information on whether the gorget is the original? If the original is what is its value? Thank you very much, Martin.

Yes, I think this example of the NSKK Traffic Direction Service Gorget is original to the period...though that's about all I can say to commend this piece. The neck chain, the backing cover and the clips are all missing and it appears to be in "ground dug" or "relic" condition -- rusted, scraped and bent.

Completely agree with Br. James assessment. This gorget looks like it caught the bad end of a bombing raid. As for a price, I couldnt think more than maybe $100-$150 and even that could be too much.

What does the central number above the eagle signify?

Agree with others but very bad condition

                        Regards

                          Thank you for the information.

Covered with gorget is but it is not kinked or is not dented. Dirt on the back of mostly old adhesive (sticky was felt).

Price 100/150 USD seems to me to be rather low.

If someone wants it bad enough, they will pay more but the condition is poor. You can charge whatever you like for it if its already yours!
