I'm hoping somebody can tell me if this is real or junk. Looks like aluminum. If real, what was it for?

I believe this to be a cast of an original wall or desk eagle. Voids can be seen in the wing in the 6th picture. The specific features to hang or stand it are missing.

I agree it is a repro ... the reverse is not correct and the casting flaws

Originals were either mounted onto the wall, or had an inverted T-shaped stand.
