DAF Cast Iron Sign

Could i have an opinion on this sign
It is made of cast iron and is very heavy
There is a similar one on collectortocollector militaria website
But the only difference being the hanging arrangement is different and the details are crisper. Is it because my sign has been outside on a factory wall
and suffered corrosion ?
Are these reproduced?
What is your opinion of my one and what will it be used for?

It looks okay to me. The detail is very good for cast iron, despite a bit of corrosion on the surface. My opinion is that as molds were used the detail got somewhat softer over the course of the run (unless they are kept clean).
What type of hanging method did the other one you mentioned have?
I would replace those phillips-head screws with old slotted ones (be very careful not to over-tighten them, as iron is brittle).

The one on collectortocollectors website is exactly the same in weight and size but the details are crisper and its fixed to the wall with a hanging device on the back and not four screws.
Would this have been on the outside of a building or inside an office?

I personally Like it, because I like all DAF items. I don't know if it is a cast copy, or a real version. My gut tells me it is real - I am very impressed by it and you should be proud to own it. Take it from a DAF collector....
