    Railway Eagle - is it authentic?

    I would sincerely appreciate any opinions as to the authenticity of this railway eagle. It appears to have been forcefully removed from a railway car. Thanks.

        I would say original as it appears to be made right.....Also has what appears to be soot from the train on it.....Many of these had their bolts cut and than pried loose....What is the epoxy like stuff in the center?....Bodes

        BTW...You may want to place your question in the Flag, Pennant & Standarte Forum section....This is where people generally post RR eagles and you will find the people who can answer your questions.....

          Thanks for the response. The epoxy was used post-war to anchor some hanging twine to display the war souvenir.
