Political Tunic, no collar tabs or collar piping?

    Political Tunic, no collar tabs or collar piping?

    Gents,
    I hope the seller doesn't mind me asking a few questions about his tunic, but I'm curious as to why it has no collar tabs or collar piping? There are signs it's been worn such as staining to the front and a patch on the lining inside, and on the left sleeve is clear signs of an armband.

    Yet no signs of collar tabs (and piping around the collar)?

    I thought maybe a musician, but no signs of any swallows nests being on the shoulders of it.....

    Any thoughts on this one? Anyone know of any pictures where a political tunic was worn without insignia except an armband?

    Also no sign of a shoulder loop on the right shoulder....
