      Shoulderboards

This 2nd-pattern shoulderboard was introduced in late 1938/early 1939.
      Worn by ranks:
SA-Anwarter thru Haupttruppfuhrer (All enlisted ranks). The light-grey wool underlay designated the "specialty". Light Grey = Foot SA.
The other pair of shoulderboards were worn by SA Engineers. Black=Engineer
The armband does not necessarily go with the shoulderboards. The grey border is a designation for SA-Reserve Units.
1 shoulderboard was worn on the brownshirt, and 2 shoulderboards were worn on the tunic.
Note: The 1st-pattern shoulderboards (1933-1938) had an underlay that matched the color of the collar tabs, and did NOT denote "specialty".
