SA German Expert Horseman's Badge - is it real?

John, can you shoot a better obverse shot--and a reverse with the pin up would be good.

I don't have the badge here yet. What are your thoughts from what you see?

I think it has the possibility of being an original. The dark spots and corrosion make it tough to tell for sure, though, but it looks possible. The reverse looks okay although the lettering looks a little deformed, but it may be a combination of the lighting and the photo quality.
The fakes don't have the same details as the originals, but this example appears to match up pretty well and the color looks right.

Looks good to me too. Price wise in this condition which is poor, around €3500. For really good condition expect go pay €6500.
