SS silver personnal artwork

Hi,

I've just find these 2 item belonged to SS Fritz Meyer.

He was born on 20.01.1881.

The silver plate is dated 20.01.1941. It was offered to him for his 60 years.

I'd post bad photos some month ago, but I'm the owner now & can post good one.

If you can have more information on these 2 item....

I agree,,the plate is a beauty. All hallmarked correctly to M. H. Wilkens & Söhne... Real nice quality!! A fine piece..

It is a beautiful piece. The large platters were used for wedding and retirement gifts and often featured some famous signatures. You might check those signatures with info in one of the reference books on SS officer commanders of Standartes.

On the small silver plaque, all name are high ranking german officer that were for most officer during WW1 too.
The plaque say "Dem Schöpfer des Hohenzollernlagers"
What is the Hohenzollernlagers?
