It does look good to me, too, thought I question the RZM code on the reverse chain clip. The chain link bears the code RZM M1/11, which is correct for that article, but the clip appears to have RZM M5/ and an indistinct license-holder's code number. The RZM code M5 was held by uniform fittings manufacturers, which is typically seen on articles such as dagger clips and metal Brown Shirt belt guides.

Thanks, Ron...these old eyes of mine...! But my question remains: by the advent of this PL gorget in 1938, the RZM system was in full function, so how did the RZM inspectors permit such a mistaken number to be approved for use on a gorget? And especially since the Assmann firm was as prestigious and careful as it was known to be?
