    Identifying a gold party badge number

    Hi everybody,

    I have a golden party badge with the number 87621.
    Can anybody indentify this number or tell me where i can find out?

    NSDAP Membership Number 87621 was awarded to Kurt Dürr, who resided in Karlsruhe.

        My pleasure, Steven. This information was found in a list of lost GPBs published in section VI of Folge 193, in the Ende Mai 1939 (Series 113, End of May 1939) issue of "Verordnungsblatt der Reichsleitung der NSDAP" – The Ordinance Sheet of the NSDAP National Leadership – where it announces that the holder’s small badge was lost. I am sorry to say that I no longer have this document available.

        You would undoubtedly benefit from contacting one of the professional researchers to do a look-up for you. They will probably be able to find out which Party and civil organization(s) this person may have belonged to, and information about his personal life, military service, and who knows what all?!
