Hitler Youth Flag 1/79

I just acquired this Hitler Youth flag. I am interested in learning more about the unit. As you can see, it has a yellow patch with the numbers 1/79. Can anyone tell me which Hitler Youth unit this flag belonged to? Thanks!

The canton panel of this Gefolgschaftsfahne reads like this, Gefolgschaft 1 of Bann 79 Hildesheim, of the Nord/Niedersachsen Gebiet in the 1938 period.

Can you post a close up shot of the canton panel? Yellow may denote a Nachrichten or M.H.J. Gefolgschaft which seems odd. The first Gefolgschaft of the Bann should really be a General H.J. unit. Interesting looking flag.

This is a HJ Nachrichten-Gefolgschaft (Signal company) flag.

the numbering of the units of specialists (Motor-HJ, Flieger-HJ, ect) always starts with the number 1 in their specialty :

1. (Motor-Gef.) / Bann 79
1. (Flieger-Gef.) / Bann 79
1. (Nachrichten-Gef.) / Bann 79
1. (SRD-Gef.) / Bann 79
...ect...
and, of course, it is also the same for the basic HJ (Stamm & Allgemeine-HJ) :

1. (Gef.) / Bann 79

On the flags, since 1938 the speciality is recognizable with the color of the background of the patch and the color of the inscriptions and the braid. Before the colors meant something else.

Yes, on the inside of each ring is the RZM logo and next to it, the number 83.
