      This is what I found shields were numbered. Mine is number 4. The numbers assigned to districts. This comes from Danzig

        You really think?? There are things wrong with this shield. For me it is fantasy! I have never read about this form. The eagle is not even an NSKK eagle,
        but a look-a-like!! Not even that!

          Yeah agreed, I maybe wrong but it sure looks like Eastern European made Third Reich fantasy crap, often coming out of Poland!

                Today I got an email from Holger Richter with hermann-historica.com that they want to take my shield at the autumn auction.
                They already had this in the past and they would see it in its catalog.
                As you can see not everything is always well known. There are things which was very little, and are rare.

                  Shocking as it might be to hear, Hermann Historica has fakes scattered throughout it like any auction does. They just have more expensive ones.
