NSFK or NSKK Mystery Buxkle?

    NSFK or NSKK Mystery Buxkle?

    A friend of mine recently acquired this buckle in a sizable vet lot. Both he and I are a bit stumped by the buckle. It seems to be a close match in general design to an NSFK (or possibly NSKK) but this one is in pebbled aluminum with army feldgrau (green) paint (which is more visible on the back than the front). Every reference I've checked makes no mention of a painted version of an NSFK or NSSK buckle.
    Any help would be be most appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.
