Now I realize that there is a lot of things on this set which is NOT correct.
You can call it crapp , or bogus or what ever you wanna call it.
They only thing is, and that is 100% true , it has been found this way.
What happend with this set between 1945 and now , I do not know and we will probably never know.
But it is still a Unique discovery ...

This has been found , northern side of the German city Saarbrucken.
It is an almost complete uniform of the SA.
It consist out of the tunic (complete with badges) , trousers , belts , buckle, shoulderstraps and last but not least a very late version of the SA cap ,also called Schaftmutze. This one has been made out of cloth and cardboard !!!
I can tell you this is a unique find. Check out the pictures.

It is not an item I collect so it will go on the sales thread tomorrow ..... after you all seen the pictures ...

        What a nice story...

Perhaps from an attic, but put into this attic shortly before the great discovery...

          Imho

In my humble opinion that badge sewn on the arm looks so eastern euro repro i would never buy something like that.

The kepi is very similar to one i had years ago(1993 or so ?) without the cardboard that is it was plain brown cloth no color panel
but it had the early eagle and a couple of small blood stains on top
maybe saw some action got it at great western gun show in pomona ca under $100 sure wish i had it now oh someone had very neatly cut what must have been a large rzm tag out of it otherwise it appeared untouched

i can only guess the origin of the black cardboard added when color panels came into regulation or as someone said a addition for theatrical use

i like the shirt, trousers, belt i think they are ok but you could fill volumes on what i don'/t know
