Looking for info on HJ photo. Thanks!

I'm trying to determine the date of this photo and whether the young man with the red arrow is an early Marine HJ or something else. Thanks!

    Hi,

Those Posters seem to be the ones used for the 1934 referendum, which took plsce on
    19th August.

    Best Regards

The poster shows Hitler breaking ground for the Autobahn Sep. 23, 1933, used for the November '33 election.

It is impossible to determine whether or not this boy belongs to the MHJ. This is due to the great distance and the lack of detail.
There was a brown uniform for the MHJ, called "Fahrtenanzug", but I believe it was introduced later than 1934. Not at home right now, so I don't have my paperwork with me.

Let me ask you a question, please: what made you think that this boy belongs to anything else than normal HJ?

In general, the MHJ always wore their blue sailor-like uniform in public, except when they were on "Fahrten" (which are long excursions).

            Rgds
