    NSKK sign - estate find

    Good morning,
I am a new member and recently purchased an item at an estate sale that I don't know much about. From what I can gather, based on limited search skills, it is a traffic sign from the NSKK. I would appreciate any additional information you would be willing to share about this. Thanks

    NSKK Sign

I have seen a couple of those here on WAF. I think they were use by a NSKK man directing traffic, like traffic cop at an intersection.

...translates to NSKK "Traffic Education Services", so perhaps used in training for traffic direction?

Matched the NSKK gorget worn during the instruction sessions.

Thanks to all for your replies. This is my first piece of German militaria except for a SA dagger that my grand father brought back. I collect US military firearms and accessories so don't know what this will lead to. The US collecting is expensive and it appears that the German collecting is equally, if not more, expensive.
I have had a few offers to purchase around $500 but don't know if this is a good offer or not.
              Thanks again.
