I am wondering if it is an NSKK cap with a replaced button.

You have the traces of the 2nd button in the front as well ?
Basically a NSKK side cap but reissued to somebody else ? NSKK Navy , TKS ?

Many thanks for Your kind help so far, much appreciated!
The other side of the cap is EXACTLY the same as the shown one, nothing had been sewn there.

                    Kind regards, Peter
