From what I can see it looks good. There should be a maker's mark or 'Ges. Gesch.' along the exterior of the bottom of the helmet's base...can't see that detail from your pix.

      Cheers,

      Br. James

Most I have seen were not marked at all. Even when they were a patent. Not even the solid ones. They were made and could be engraved.

            Hi Wim,

I have two examples of this lapel pin in my collection and both are marked: one is die-stamped “N.&H.” (Noelle & Hueck GmbH, Lüdenscheid) and “Ges. Gesch” at the helmet's base and the other is stamped “G.D.” (G. Danner, Mühlhausen, or Gebrüder Dornbach, Lüdenscheid) and “Ges. Gesch” at the helmet's base. I have seen other styles of Stahlhelm Bund lapel pins without marks, but not this style. Of course, I haven't seen them all!!

            Cheers, my friend,

            Br. James
