Am I reading these SA Shoulder Board Regs Correctly

Looking at the 1934 SA Shoulder Board Regs, and am scratching my head over the highlighted portion of the passage, below. Is it saying there was 10 mm gold metallic Litze peeking out between the board and the metallic twist cord? I don't see it in the accompanying illustration, and don't recall ever seeing something like that in hand, either.

Apparently you have the description from the book from Freiherr von Eelking.

According to this official description there should be a golden braid between the upper part for the cloth of the strap (Tuch in der Spiegelgrundfarbe) and the silver and gold (Gold- und Silberschnur) woven material for the rank.
This description was the same as with the official order, a letter from the OSAF as I. Nr. 1287/33 from June 20, 1933. In fact through the "holes" of the woven upper part you could not see the colored backing by the braid.

However this braid was no lonnger included since about 1936. It was not mentioned anymore in the Mitteilungsblatt der RZM, manufcturing regulations (Herstellungsvorschriften) from that year! That a change was expected was noted in the Mitteilungsblatt der RZM, number 24 from November 21, 1936. The introduction for new shoulder-straps/boards was delayed anyway until December 31, 1936. Another delay was mentioned in number 2 from January 16, 1937. When the new form actually came into being is not mentioned anymore.

Many thanks, Wilhelm! I am a bit dyslexic (I read from bottom to top, right to left) and sometimes I get things very mixed up because of this.

Hello Wilhelm - If I still have your attention, here is another question -

der s.a. und s.s auf der rechten schulter getragen, wo sie an der ärmel naht angenäht sind und dicht am kragen rand mit eninem kleinen metallknopf befestigt warden.

You see slip-on SA Shoulderboards - were they EVER worn on the Braunhemd, or always just sewn-in boards?

slip on is not mentioned. I have no idea if this is possible. Maybe in later years. Have no time to check this as I am going out
            and return on Monday.
