I'm of a divided mind on this one, Robert! The piece itself looks good to me -- in the poor condition normally seen when one of these rare badges turns up -- but the only manufacturer of the SA Military Defense Badge for War Wounded I have ever seen, till now, is the Werner Redo firm -- RZM license #M1/100. RZM license #M1/52 was held by the Munich form of Deschler & Söhn... Perhaps a photo of the reverse with the pin in the open position might reveal a further bit of information...?

Too the best of my knowledge the 1/52 are original and period, I had one in the past. I would like to hear some other opinions on this one, looks ok to me. TPK
